Are your hypertensive patients At Target?

Hypertension Canada invites you to participate in a new reflective learning program designed to measure how well blood pressure targets are being met in primary care practices across Canada and provide you with evidence-based management strategies to improve patient care.

Objectives                                                                                                This program is designed to:
  • Determine levels of knowledge and attitudes towards Hypertension Canada Guidelines
  • Measure the uptake of the Guidelines and attainment of blood pressure targets in primary care settings
  • Provide evidence-based learning with a goal to improve guidelines adoption and adherence
A professional honorarium of $400 and complimentary 1-year membership to Hypertension Canada will be provided for your participation in this program upon completion.
Hypertension is the most common chronic condition among patients who visit primary health care providers, but are they being treated to target? *

The Hypertension Canada Guidelines are internationally cited and renowned for their evidence-based research and rigorous reviewing process, but their adoption in a busy family practice can be challenging. We aim to bridge the gap.
