The 2010 Canadian Hypertension Education Program (CHEP) recommendations are the 11th annual update. Innovative interactive internet based lectures are planned as well as programs to train community leaders in hypertension.

In 2010, there are new recommendations regarding automated office blood pressure measurement, to use angiotensin receptor blockers as an alternative to ACE inhibitors in people with ischemic heart disease and new targets for dietary sodium.
